PINEAPPLE EXPRESS Freaking hilarious. I was worried this would be to much insider pot humor for a guy who did less inhaling than Bill Clinton, but this quickly develops into a buddy / action flick that hits all the right notes. Rogan and Franco are great—Franco as Sol the pot-dealer is the best stoner since Brad Pitt as Floyd—and the supporting cast is strong as well. Even Ed Begley, Jr., and I HATE Ed Begley, Jr.
A KNIGHT'S TALE Another flick I was nervous to pull the trigger on. Picking dud movies is a capital offense in our house since our opportunities are few and far between. It was on cable recently, so I TiVo'd it. It's a bit off-beat, what with the contemporary music and dialogue, but a thoroughly engrossing and entertaining flick.

I absolutely LOVED Knight's Tale. I watched it just because I'd seen the preview with the We Will Rock You scene and I love those kind of anachronistic humor, but I wasn't expecting much. Turned out the movie was great. A pleasant surprise.
I have really wanted to see Pineapple Express, so I will take this rec' and run with it.
However, honestly, I could hardly sit through Knights Tale. Oh well, to each their own!
Smitty, there were indeed some cringe-worthy moments in A Knight's Tale—especially at the beginning when I thought it was a mistake to be sure. But Mrs F and I were totally sucked in and ended up enjoyed it quite a bit.
After seeing Zack and Miri Make a Porno, another Seth Rogen movie, Pineapple Express was a let down. It went too long and just wasn't that funny for a stoner movie.
It has been a while since I saw Knight's Tale, but I recall I enjoyed it.
