Behold the Nissan Cube.
I joked to my former coworkers that the new guy doesn't get the BMW, and that "I'm sure I'll be driving the Nissan Cube..."
Lo and behold, those were the keys dropped on my desk. It might be the most ridiculous car since the VW Thing, but it's already grown on me.

I think the Cube is really cool looking. How is it in the non-aesthetic department?
I think it's the epitome of love it-or-hate it design. Two female coworkers were openly mocking this car when it came out in a print ad that was laying around the office months ago, hence my joke.
I had only seen a handful around Asheville, and for some reason they were all white or a color that did the styling no favors. I like this much better in this somewhat unusual blue. I don't take issue with the more controversial things like the asymmetrical windows, but there are certainly details I would change (lights for one).
As for my "road test" let me follow up after some more time behind the wheel.
Cars like this might be "cute" to look at when they drive by, or neat to test drive, but who wouldbe stupid enough to drop tens of thousands of dollars on one? In four years will it still be cute? This isn't exactly a timeless design.
I'm with Bob. This is a trendy car that will, quickly, be outdated.

Haven't seen the interior, but I dig the Cube.
I gotta say though, if I could drive a little of every car in the world, I would do it.
Especially when that go-awful magazine Consumer Reports gushes over a car I could intelligently say why it sucks to the fools who worship at CR’s feet.
