Dear Senator Tancredo...

I just watched the 60 Minutes Immigration piece. You were featured prominantly spouting your anti-immigtration bullshit. Calling for "whatever billions of dollars it takes" to build a wall the length of the entire Mexican border to keep out illegal immigrants depending heavily on the argument of "protecting us from terrorists."

Here's what I have to say about that:

I just drove a van into the country from Canada, without having to so much as show an ID. Seriously. I just posed a much greater threat to the security of the homeland than any starving 16-year-old running across the desert.

Your plan is to protect the country by wasting undetermined billions of dollars on a fucking fence, even though there's been no evidence of terrorists entering the country from Mexico, and there actually have been terrorists with carloads of explosives apprehended coming in from Canada.

That experts (and non-experts like myself, who merely apply common sense) acknowledge a greater threat lies in uninspected shipping containers and cargo. The reason that can't happen? Shortage of funding.

Oh, and let's not forget the fact that every one of the 9/11 hijackers entered the country through proper immigration channels.

You complete fucking incompetent dick.

Did you ever actually SEE the re-printing of the visa applications of the 9/11 hijackers? Y'know how the State Department officials who'd approved them got raises and promotions? That is total BS b/c one f the hijackers, when asked his address in the States simply listed "hotel" and another, when asked his occupation, listed "techur" (teacher). Lots of them just left the address lines blank and almost none listed their date of scheduled departure from the country. In short, they totally failed at properly filling out the paperwork, which begs the question, if they were just going to receive a rubber stamp approval, why have a process at all?

Subject: Cheap Labor?

"The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, and a lie. There is
no
such thing as "cheap labor." Take, for example, an illegal Mexican
who
sneaks in here with his wife and five children. He takes a job for
five or six dollars an hour. At that wage with six dependents he
pays
no income tax, yet at the end of the year gets an "earned income
credit" of up to $3,200 free. He qualifies for Section 8 housing
and
subsidized rent, food
stamps, and free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care. His
children
get free breakfasts and lunches at school, and require bi-lingual
teachers and books that taxpayers provide. He doesn't have to
worry
about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.
Taxpayers
provide Spanish language signs, bulletins, and printed material. He
cannot be fired, harassed, or sued. He and his family receive the
equivalent of $20 to $30 an hour in benefits, while working
Americans
are lucky to have $5 or $6 an hour left after paying their bills.
And
the taxpayers also are paying for increased crime, graffiti, and
trash
cleanup.

Cheap labor? My ass!

Dan Tancredo has it right. Illegals need to have their asses kicked out. All they are is poachers, squatters, are filthy, dirty and have fucked up our way in the S/W with all their god damn graffitti, discarded beer bottles, driving without insurance, no licenses, soaking up the taxpayers money., with an attitude to boot. Line them up and kick them out
