"Restoring America"

Burning houses of worship? I hope the likes of Beck, Palin and others pushing the fear and hate are proud of what they've wrought. The ignorance and hate in the quotes given straight-faced to the news crew in this story are enough to turn one's stomach.

I'd like to say "I don't recognize this country anymore" but sadly, I do: It looks just like the early 60s when the Klan was firebombing black churches.

No shit. They want their America back?? Bullshit. I want *mine* back.

I hate that phrase, by the way, because it is meaningless. You have all these robots knuckle-dragging around the convention repeating the "I want my country back" mantra, but, as was shown in interviews, they are unable to articulate just what of America was taken from them and what specifically they'd like back.

One can only assume "they" want to go back to a country where there was no safety net, where buisnesses and institutions were free to discrinimnate and where we whites didn't have to mingle with those other people.

Americans should ask themselves if they have already made friends with a terrorist, reformed or had a convicted felon help them buy their house because they are not drops. These are facts about Barack Obama

Unfortunately we have no experience of war for 30 years, we have been here and seen as hostile since the approval of site plan for the new center, said Sbenaty.

I want my country back "mantra, but as evidenced in interviews, they are able to articulate what America has been taken from them and what they specifically want to return.
