I made big progress in one of our storage rooms getting rid of about 200 gallons* of trash—packing materials, and odd shit that's been in boxes since we moved in six years ago.
Broke down boxes for all the weird shit we "save the box for" (ie: vacuum cleaners, coffemakers, countless humidifiers...)
This frees up lots of floor and shelf space to begin moving stuff out of the main living (dumping) space.
In other words, progress, just not visible yet. Kind of like Iraq.

What a nice and nicely decorated home.
Happy new year to the whole Furious clan.
Thanks, S.W., hope everyone's doing well at your end. Happy New Year.
Oh, and that shot was early in the storm. We ended up with about nine inches on the ground by morning, and another inch or two on that late today.
Wow! That's gorgeous. I won't mention that it was in the 60s here NYE. It certainly wasn't as pretty as it is up there.
