On the Road

In Charleston for business today and then family tomorrow, so blogging will be sporadic at best over the weekend. I don't have ANY idea about what happened in the wider world besides the headline on the paper outside my hotel room door this morning announcing a breakdown on the bailout...

"Good." Was my reaction in its entirety.

Good, because anything that happened that fast would surely be a bad plan, and good because it puts McCain behind the eightball.

That's all for now...

UPDATE:
Saturday night and we're home. Time to dive into the internets...

Good? Perhaps not so much... This bailout thing is like when police attempt to solve a murder: if they don't resolve it within the first 24 hours, the probability of them resolving at all drops dramatically over time.

(Rickey does concur that it's a good thing if it hurts McCain however).

I think you'll enjoy Charleston. Michelline and I had a great time when we went in March.

While you are on the road, turn your butt around and come back to Michigan. We need you more here.

I'm not buying that, Rickey. A measured thought-out approach is preferable than a false-pressure, blind, fuck-up approach.
