This Way To The Ark


I took these Sunday morning at 10:45. It has rained every minute since, and it started late Saturday afternoon. Here's hoping the house is still there when I get home...

Your pictures always have great clarity and yet softness to them....what kind of camera is it??? Or is it a filter....whatever it is they are beautiful, as are your two lovelies!

Thanks! IT helps to have pretty models!

I shoot with a Nikon D80 SLR. A very nice camera, but the lenses I use with it are key. Plus, I work on the photos in the computer.

If you use a point and shoot, set it to the flower or portrait any time you're taking a picture of people. It will do the best job of blurring the background which is something I strive for. Helps the person be the focus, literally.

The darkening around the edges (vignetting) is added in Photoshop. That adds a lot to the look.
