"But in fact, Senator, you are now campaigning as if Barack Obama were the Democrat and YOU were the Republican.
As Shakespeare wrote, Senator, that way madness lies."
He actually goes easier on Hillary than he should, giving her an "out", and going harder on Ferraro and her advisors. Transcript.

UPDATE: Olbermann wrote a diary at Kos last night as well. It's mostly block-quoted excepts of the transcript, but with some additional commentary mixed in. Like this...
There is much in the decisions made by the Senator and her strategists that was obvious, mistaken, and damaging.
And there is the grimmer prospect. That these, as Howard Fineman suggested on Countdown last night, were not mistakes at all.
I agree. I think there is a pattern that is inescapable. These "regrettable" things just keep happening...

Every day, she gets more and more vile. I don't even know what else to say.
I went to the Michigan Political Leadership Program (MPLP) dinner in Livonia last week. The guests speakers were Bill Kristol (who was funny but still a total asshole and completely wrong) and Geraldine Ferraro.
I was disgusted. Ferraro took every opportunity to take every question...every question...and use it to bash Obama and praise Hillary. Kristol didn't even have to work. Geraldine did it all for him.
I left early with a couple of my friends who are pretty hard-core Rs. They were, in their own words, totally turned off by Ferraro, shocked that she would say such blatantly racist comments (yes...2 Republicans said that...) and a little angry that the MPLP didn't screen their speakers well enough.
Damn, like all Olbermann special comments, that was a smackdown.
It's shocking the way they handled this, really. Shocking.
I've always said that I'd support whatever Dem got the nomination, but if by some huge upset Hillary gets it, that will really be put to the test.
