IF YOU'RE NOT OUTRAGED, YOU'RE NOT PAYING ATTENTION!
Wow. Throw up a blog and suddenly you get media credientials. Awesome. I am sooo going to try this.
Excellent photos...Oh, BTW, I am going to the Springsteen Obama really this afternoon.
Seriously. THis is all you are giving us. I want more of an update. How close were you. Was it amazing. Details please.
Bob,My credentials were because I work for a magazine (as an art director—not a reporter...). I requested em on my own, but I used my position to do it. You would need to have established some sort of press credentials beforehand—which bloggers probably CAN get—because without the magazine, I never would have gotten past the cops to the press check-in table where my Obama tag was waiting.Ang,Yeah, I know...I was gone all day and had serious kid duty when I got home. Then, after baths and bedtime and everything alse, Mrs F and I actually watched a movie—a rarity. The next thing you know it was the middle of the night.
Ang, I wasn't as close at it appears...that close-up shot is shot with a 300mm lens. The press area I was shooting from was probably 75 feet away from the stage? I'm a bad judge of that stuff...The ropeline shot is as close as I got—six or so people away, but it was so tight I couldn't see him, I am holding my camera over my head.
Love the pix on your Flickr page. Color me jealous.
ok, i will forgive you. :-) glad you at least got to see him. We probably won't be seeing much more of him in MI given McCain packing up his toys and going home :-)
