An Insane Narcissist Republican Governor Resigned Today… and, No, It Wasn't Mark Sanford
Holy shit. Not the resignation—though that IS shocking—I've already read about that. I cannot believe that trainwreck of a speech. Watch it and see for yourself. It's insanity is contagious—it started making me feel crazy the more I watched it.
More on this later, but my initial take? She's done. This was involuntary political suicide.

Maybe there is more to this story? I expect something to blow up in a week.

She's lost her mind. I can't make any sense of her words at all.
I only got half way through before I needed to shut it off and go get a Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA (21% abv...). I drank it, and tried again to watch. Still made no sense. Disjointed. Like a collection of one-liners in a Bob Dylan song, but instead of poetry, this was a rambling morass of chaotic insanity. This wasn't stream-of-consciousness lyrical banter like you get from Bare Naked Ladies. This was composing a speech based on keywords in a google search followed by brainless analogy.
I wonder if she has so little respect for the intellect of the average Alaskan that she thinks she can gt away with this kind of crap with them.
I made it to the 1:41 mark. The whole point guard thing made my head feel funny. I felt like I was getting dumber and it made me nervous. This speech is the verbal equiavlent of 2 girls 1 cup. Completely unwatchable and nauesea inducing.
