Worst. Cops. Ever.

This is ridiculous almost to the point of unbelievability. I kept waiting for the Onion News Network anchor to come on. If Michael "Heckuva Job" Brown ran the Minsk Road Police...

That's the stupidest thing I've seen in quite a while. I don't think I'd have listened to the cops in that situation, though, especially not if my son was in the car. I understand they didn't quite grasp what the police were trying to do, but parking in the middle of a freeway is never a good idea. I don't even understand the logistics of it. How were they able to get enough cars pulled over and explain where they wanted them to be in time? And obviously, it would have been far easier to just do it with police cars. Of course, it's a pretty stupid idea in the first place. I've seen enough high speed chase shows on TV to know that there are a lot of better ways to stop someone than building a wall of cars. From idea to execution, it was pretty much a horrible idea all the way around. People should not only get fired for this, but be publicly ridiculed as well.

Clearly, there is something insanely wrong with police training in Minsk. Drives home how critical it is for police, like soldiers, to receive excellent training and for trainees who don't do well to get washed out.

BTW, what a remarkable thing this report is. Thirty years ago I would never have imagined seeing news video out of Russia about a screw-up like this, much less one showing news types questioning a police commander about his people's screw-up.

This video is a metaphor for the Giuliani campaign.

I'm with John: literally the stupidest thing I've seen in a long time.

Wow.
